Register for Canroots East, November 28-29th, Toronto

Do you organize people, places and movements, or do you want to?  Are you fired up about the latest tactics tools to make organizing more efficient and effective, Marshall Ganz, or the potential of widespread people power?

Register for November 28-29th for the first ever Canroots East gathering on the Ryerson University campus in Toronto.

CanRoots is inspired by the New Organizing Institute’s Rootscamp in the U.S. as a place where progressive organizers come together to share stories, lessons, and best practices, and to forge new ties with others doing this kind of work.

Join others who organize, who want to learn about new, innovative and successful organizing techniques, and challenge ideas on what it takes to win. Contribute your knowledge and share stories with others who are organizing towards a more progressive, engaged Canada.

We are going to be joined by incredible organizers from Broadbent Institute, Freshwater Alliance, Environmental Defence, No Casino Toronto, Dogwood Initiative, ACORN,, We Are Oshawa, Ecology Ottawa and others who will talk about everything from database utility to storytelling, to how making mistakes is creating a stronger organizing movement.
